Mom's Lead the Way in Going Green

  February 16, 2008 - When it comes to going green and being eco-friendly, nobody does it better than Mom's. As if that was a real shocker! No offense to the Dad's out there, because there certainly are many Dad's who are going green as well. However, the fact of the matter is that, well....let's just say it's no coincidence that we refer to our natural world as Mother Nature, and the Earth herself as Mother Earth (which reminds me of one of my favorite green superstores: MotherNature.com)

But Mom's aren't just going green by themselves. They are doing it hand-in-hand. Take, for instance, the Eco Mom Alliance, which was recently featured in the New York Times. Now at over 9,000 mom's strong, the Eco Mom Alliance continues to build their membership at an impressive rate. What's most impressive about the Eco Mom Alliance is the way in which they are educating mom's about going green.

Not just telling mom's how to go green, Eco Mom Alliance explains why it's necessary to go green. That's our same philosophy at SaveWithGreen.com. I guess that means we are totally cool or something. Anyhow, many of the alliance's members are dishing out some excellent "Eco Mommy Blogs", including favorites like "Nature Moms", "Healthy Child", "Mindful Momma", "Moms Go Green" and the invincible "Enviro Mom".

It is truly wonderful to see women uniting and leveraging their Mommy powers (it's some kind of power let me tell you), to help reduce global warming. They are truly an inspiration for all of us to become better stewardesses of our Earth, children and generations to become.
